- I am a Dietitian-Nutritionist specializing in eating disorders and sports nutrition. I began my professional journey researching anthropometric parameters and dietary patterns, in addition to working in health centers. Little by little, I became more involved in the clinical and sports fields, where I discovered my true passion: supporting people in the process of healing and rebuilding their relationship with food and their bodies.
- At the University of Barcelona, I completed my Master’s degree in Nutrition in Physical Activity and Sport. That experience helped me identify that, in many cases, there was a rigid or harmful relationship with food and one’s own body. Since then, my focus has been on promoting a more mindful, flexible, and respectful approach to nutrition—one that prioritizes overall well-being above performance or appearance ideals.
- Throughout nine years of clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to support many individuals in their journeys toward change and well-being. While working in Barcelona, I specialized in eating disorders (EDs), a field that opened an immense door to understanding the complexity of behaviors surrounding food, body, and identity. Through this experience, I observed how EDs are much more “common” than people tend to think, and that they are not merely an “eating problem,” but rather a reflection of a deep network of intertwined factors.
- I am currently part of the ART Clinic team, where I accompany patients in the process of reconciling with food and their body image. My work focuses on fostering sustainable habits and cultivating a compassionate, mindful relationship with food—promoting body acceptance, movement, connection with the body, and a free and healthy relationship with eating.
- I work in both Spanish and English.
Irrelevant information about my personal life
- I’m from Santiago, Chile, and seven years ago I moved to Barcelona for the first time. I lived in England for a while, but eventually decided to return to Barcelona, captivated by its people, its culture, and the special way life, food, and celebrations are enjoyed here.
- I practiced figure skating from the age of eight, and later, as a coach for girls and teenagers, I was able to see up close how pressure and the pursuit of an ideal body can affect one’s relationship with food. That experience also led me to focus on eating disorders and to dedicate my work to prevention and compassionate support.
- I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and connecting with nature. I feel that every place has its own essence and energy that make it unique; each small experience and lesson teaches me to appreciate the world with love, from a new perspective every time.
- I never cook by measuring ingredients precisely — I enjoy experimenting with ingredients, quantities, and textures. Letting creativity and flexibility guide me helps me connect more deeply with food.
