I am a Dance Movement Therapist, trained in the master’s program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2010–2014), where I focused my final research on therapeutic trust relationships through embodied tools rooted in Contact Improvisation techniques.

I am a Social and Cultural Anthropologist with a specialization in gender and the environment, graduated from the UAB (2016–2020).

My artistic training was completed with a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Dance and Performance at the London Contemporary Dance School – The Place, in London (2006–2007).

My interest in the relationship between movement, the body, emotion, and the psyche led me to specialize in Laban and Bartenieff Movement Analysis at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, in New York, and later in the Kestenberg Movement Profile, in Philadelphia.

I trained as an educator and therapist in somatic movement, and I am a certified teacher of Body-Mind Dancing and DanceAbility.

I have worked supporting therapeutic processes with individuals in diverse contexts: addiction, functional diversity, childhood, adolescence, and families.

In New York, I taught at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies between 2015 and 2020, combining in-person and online formats. I also collaborated with organizations such as Movement Research and the Balance Arts Center.

Since 2019, I have been collaborating with the Department of Dramaturgy, Staging, and Choreography at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and Vic, and I am part of the teaching team of the Master’s in Dance Movement Therapy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the Eòlia Performing Arts School.

I have coordinated somatic movement-based projects in nurseries in New York and Barcelona, following the Body-Mind Dancing methodology developed by Dr. Martha Eddy.

I am a member of ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association).

I have presented my work at conferences such as the Laban International Conference in New York, with the talk “Moving Hyperactivity: Uncovering Underlying Patterns for Focus in ADHD”, and at the UAB during the conference “Con-muévete y mueve al mundo”.

Irrelevant information about my personal life
- I lived in London and New York, and toured across Europe with various dance companies.
- I’ve always loved traveling, so I sought out work that would allow me to move, explore, and observe.
- The smell of rosemary takes me back to childhood.
- I enjoy witnessing encounters between people in parks, cafés, or airports, and imagining their stories while sipping a hot cup of tea.
- I’m drawn to anything that involves decoding—codes, symbols, hidden structures.
- That curiosity led me to study languages and cultures far removed from my own, such as Classical Greek, Latin, and a bit of Russian.
- In dance, I specialized in Motif Writing, a symbolic system that allows movement to be notated like a score.
