Alejandra Misiolek
  • I am a psychologist. I graduated in 2012 from UNED, however, I did most of my degree at the University of Silesia (Poland) and at the University of Valencia (Spain).
  • I am a philologist. I studied English Philology. I took the same route and ended up graduating at UNED in 2013.
  • I am a medical doctor. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from the University of Barcelona since 2022.
  • I have a PhD degree in psychiatry. I started working on research for my doctoral thesis in 2011. I did my thesis on burnout, with the collaboration of the University of Valencia, which I defended at the Silesian Medical University in 2013.
  • I am a Certified Psychotherapist, with EFPA EuroPsy certification obtained in 2017 and FEAP certification in 2015.

  • I am an Associate Professor at the General Sanitary Psychology Master’s Degree and an internship tutor for students at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC)
  • I am a member of the IDIBELL research group of the Eating Disorders Unit of the Department of Psychiatry of the Bellvitge University Hospital.

  • I am a psychotherapist, and since 2013 I have been helping patients in my private practice. In recent years I decided to specialize in the problems of eating disorders and obesity.
  • I founded Carrera Idiomas, a language school (in Valencia) where I also worked as an English teacher from 2010 to 2013, just before moving to Barcelona.
  • I am a co-founder of the ART Project, which I consider my personal project but that I share with more people. This project is the result of everything I have learned so far.
  • I work in Spanish, English, Polish and Catalan.

  • I was born in 1987 in Poland.
  • I have lived in Spain since 2008.
  • I am passionate about psychology.
  • I like to learn new things.
  • I like doing several things at the same time, so my biggest personal challenge is to stay calm and not forget to enjoy what I do.
  • I love coffee.
  • I like to eat well, and I like that my husband loves cooking.
  • I love to run in the mornings, at my own pace.
  • I have 2 cats – I admire these animals.
  • I am interested in fashion, as an artistic expression of our personality in the form of a style. I’ve been trying to learn sewing for several years, with many failed attempts and constant interruptions.
