- I am a psychologist. I graduated in 2015 from the University of Deusto. I did an Erasmus exchange at the National University of Ireland (NUI-Galway).
- I am a psychotherapist, I was trained in relational psychodynamic psychotherapy and I have experience in treating Eating Disorders and issues related to relationships and self-esteem, among others. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining EFPA EuroPsy certification.
- I am a researcher. In 2017, I finished the Research Master’s in Clinical and Developmental Psychopathology at the Vrije Universiteit (VU-Amsterdam).
- Between 2017 and 2022 I worked as a research assistant and Ph.D. researcher at Deusto Stress Research lab at the University of Deusto (Bilbao).
- I have a Ph.D. degree in psychology. In 2022 I defended my thesis on the beneficial role of dispositional mindfulness as a protective factor against symptoms during adolescence. In 2021, I did a research stay at Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB-Cluj-Napoca, Romania).
- I am a post-doc researcher in the AGORA group of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona with Hospital Vall de Hebron.
- I am the author of several scientific publications and presentations at conferences.
- I am a General Health Psychologist. In 2019, I finished a master’s degree in General Health Psychology from the UNED.
- I am a member of the COPC – Colegio Oficial de Psicología de Catalunya (membership number 29942).
- I am passionate about mindfulness. I have done different courses and training.
- I work in Spanish and English.
Irrelevant information about my personal life
- I was born and spent my childhood in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Then I lived for a few years in Bilbao. I have also lived in different countries in Europe (Ireland, the Netherlands, and Romania). Currently, I live in Barcelona.
- I practice yoga and mindfulness.
- I like reading and writing
- I like spending time outdoors, walking, cycling and swimming.
- I am passionate about psychology; I enjoy reading and participating in psychology training and courses.
- I love specialty coffee; even more, if it is in a cafeteria in good company or with a book.
