- I am a trained nutritionist with a specialization in food science. I have had the opportunity to work in basic research analyzing genetic polymorphisms, and later transitioned to clinical practice, where I have the most experience, both in the hospital sector and, primarily, in private practice.
- I am continually studying, doing courses and obtaining certifications. I hold a certification in functional medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine, which is a comprehensive approach that focuses healthcare professionals on addressing the root causes rather than just mitigating symptoms, allowing the patient to have an active role in their well-being.
- I have 7 years of clinical experience with a broad range of patients. My primary focus has been on digestive health and eating behavior, with a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach that seeks to address weight bias and stigma, helping to improve the relationship with the body image and food.
- In Madrid, I completed a master’s degree in eating disorders and obesity at the Universidad Europea. My work focused on the importance of a nutrition education program as part of multidisciplinary treatment for eating disorders, and since then, I have collaborated as part of multidisciplinary teams, contributing from the nutrition area in the treatment of patients with eating disorders.
- Currently, I collaborate with Clínica ART, supporting patients with eating disorders and obesity, providing strategies to foster a healthier relationship with food and body image, focusing not only on what they eat but also on how they eat.
- I work in both Spanish and English.
